This super simple recipe hits the spot every time. It is a crowd pleaser wherever we take it, any time of the year. Bonus it can be used like a conventional salsa with chips or tossed on top of some grilled chicken, salmon or shrimp skewers – all yummy! I’m not going to bore you with any more fluff than that 🙂 Enjoy the recipe!
2 ripe mangos, peeled and chopped
Juice of one lime
2 green onions, finely chopped
small handful of cilantro, finely chopped
1 (8oz) can of crushed pineapple
2 good pinches of kosher or coarse sea salt
*If you want this spicy, add a quarter to a half of finely chopped jalapeno pepper.
Mix all ingredients together and you have yourself some mango salsa – told you it was super easy! And it is a definite make ahead as it tastes even better after it has sat for a few hours.
