Does anyone else feel like they need a reprieve week? As in, a low low budget and super simple to cook? I sure do! After all that holiday cooking and spending I feel like I could use a super simple week here. I wonder if I’ll have enough left over to hire a someone to clean for me…probably not…it was worth a shot anyway. As I waded through my friend’s blogs for some simple recipes with low price tags, I was amazed at how many budget friendly meals they had to share. I grabbed my Meal & Grocery Planner sheet and started making my list as I selected the recipes – I was that excited! I hope you enjoy this weeks simple money saving lineup!
Dinner Time!
I love quiche even for dinner paired with a big salad. I know our boys won’t want the veggies in the quiche so I will make one with the asparagus on the side for them as it is their favorite vegetable at the moment. For this recipe click HERE.
I’ve really been rocking the soup around here lately – and this chicken version sounds so fun and delicious. Just different enough without totally throwing everyone for a loop. And seriously what is better than a steaming bowl of soup on a cold night? For this recipe click HERE.
Noodles, noodles, noodles – our kids love them. I try to keep the noodles to a minimum and make more protein the center of each meal, but sometimes you just need the noodles 😉 This quick easy pasta dish always seems to do the trick – gluten free? Just sub in your favorite gluten free pasta! For this recipe click HERE.
Olive Garden fans, this one is for you! A copy cat recipe that runs a close second to their Zuppa Toscana Soup. I think I will make this ahead for a super simple heat up recipe later in the week! For this recipe click HERE.
I know the kids will love these simple chicken skewers when they are put in front of them. Ever notice kids will eat almost anything off of a stick? Hummmm…well my kids anyway. This is super simple and will make dinner interesting anyway. To get the recipe for these click HERE.

Breakfast Idea
I love when the kids can grab breakfast for themselves, you know on the days that the coffee hasn’t kicked in yet! My boys will drown themselves in cereal, but my daughter won’t touch it. I love having little things like these Apple Cinnamon Quinoa Balls around to grab on your way out the door. For the recipe click HERE.
Leave Room for Dessert!
Don’t forget that a little something sweet is nice every once in awhile. Bars are so great. I love how you can store them for later…it they make it until later… Try these Blueberry Crumb Bars for your crew this week. Get the recipe by clicking HERE.
As always, be sure to grab your weekly Grocery & Meal Planner HERE! Make it a week to remember! Oh and don’t forget to share this post with your friends 🙂
